The backrest consists of a short horizontal timber panel, set at a height that aligns with the mid‑back. Attached to the top edge of this panel is a separate foam‑filled cushion, wrapped in the same fabric as the seat. This upper pad provides a softer contact point for the shoulder blades, compensating for the rigid wooden surface below.
The exposed frame is American Ash, finished in Natural. Fabric options are Ivory (light neutral) or Pistachio (muted green), both applied to the seat and the backrest cushion. The fabric is treated for stain resistance, suitable for daily dining use. The chair’s 610mm depth fits standard dining tables, and the compact footprint allows multiple units to be placed side by side without crowding.
